Department of Economics
"Engineering is different from science in a way that, engineering requires a broad understanding of the technology, environment and the ability to organize all available resources, human and non human, to achieve economically and socially desirable objectives". Many technologically brilliant projects have been destroyed as a result of unsound economic analysis. Engineering economics is a search for and recognition of alternatives which are then compared and evaluated in order to come up with most practical design and creation. Department of Humanities is offering papers on engineering economics and industrial economics to the engineering students with a view to impart fundamental principles of economics to mold them as efficient decision makers.
